The Director of Strategic Sales at Bizzabo will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our Enterprise market presence by developing and executing innovative sales strategies and managing our team of Strategic Account Executives. This role requires a dynamic leader who can inspire a team, build strong relationships with key customers and partners, and identify new business opportunities in the event technology space. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the SaaS sales cycle and best practices and a proven track record of success in strategic sales management. Reporting directly to the SVP of Sales, this person will play a vital role in helping Bizzabo move up-market and acquire new enterprise and strategic customers. This person will manage a global sales team based between North America and Israel.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth objectives and revenue targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing strategic sales team to maximize their performance and engagement.
  • Proactively identify, engage, and cultivate strategic partnerships that drive Bizzabo’s market expansion, strengthen its competitive edge, and unlock new business opportunities.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and customer needs to develop data-driven strategies and tailor offerings that align with business objectives and maximize growth potential..
  • Collaborate with Bizzabo’s Marketing and Product teams to align sales initiatives with overall company goals.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior leadership.
  • Represent Bizzabo at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and network with potential clients.

Who You Are

  • Global SaaS Sales Leadership Expertise: Over 10 years of SaaS sales experience, including 3+ years managing high-performing global Enterprise Account Executive teams.
  • Master of Sales Methodologies: Proven expertise in executing structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, with a strong preference for candidates who have demonstrated success using this approach.
  • Revenue Growth Champion: Consistently exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth through innovative strategies, relentless focus, and a proven ability to deliver exceptional results.
  • Industry Expert in Event Technology: Strong preference for someone with a deep understanding of the event technology industry, market dynamics, and emerging trends that shape the competitive landscape.
  • Inspirational Leadership: Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a strong ability to inspire, motivate, and lead teams to consistently outperform expectations.
  • Master Communicator & Negotiator: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills that foster strong client relationships and drive successful sales outcomes.
  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Strong ability to analyze data, identify key trends, and make informed, data-driven decisions to optimize performance and results.
  • This person should be based in the Eastern or Central time zone.

In accordance with the New York Pay Transparency Law: The Director, Strategic Sales role has a base salary range of $140,000-$150,000 plus generous commission.
