Role Description:

The Director of OEM Accounts will lead strategic relationships with key automotive OEMs, like Mercedes, Porsche, Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo, Subaru, and Nissan. Reporting to the Vice President of OEM and Industry Partnerships, this role ensures alignment with myKaarma’s strategic goals while supporting the VP in achieving their objectives. The ideal candidate will bring experience at a level of Senior Manager or a Director position at one of the Big Five consulting firms (Accenture, KPMG, PwC, EY, or Deloitte) with a focus on Automotive OEMs and demonstrate a deep understanding of account management, partnership development, and the automotive ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

OEM Partnership Management

  • Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with OEMs to enhance collaboration and drive revenue growth.
  • Tailor myKaarma’s value proposition to meet the unique needs of each OEM partner.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-level and VP executives within OEM organizations.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with OEM partners to ensure alignment and mutual success.

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Develop and implement strategies to position myKaarma as the preferred SaaS provider for automotive dealerships.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for new lines of business and revenue streams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Technology teams to ensure effective delivery of OEM-specific solutions.
  • Close new OEM partnerships that generate revenue and market share gains for myKaarma.
  • Manage year-over-year revenue and rooftop count growth with assigned OEM accounts.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of OEM programs.
  • Leverage insights from data analysis to forecast challenges and develop proactive solutions.
  • Employ the “Five Whys” methodology to uncover root causes and drive process improvement.

Innovation and Advocacy

  • Represent myKaarma at industry events, workshops, and speaking engagements to showcase our solutions and thought leadership.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in the automotive sector to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience managing strategic partnerships, ideally within the automotive or technology sector.
  • Background in consulting at a Big Five firm focusing on strategy, operations, or technology.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage at executive levels.
  • Data-driven mindset with a track record of achieving revenue and growth targets.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with OEM partners and stakeholders.
