About The Role
As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engage our audience, and showcase the unique experiences we provide. You’ll collaborate closely with our team to craft compelling content, manage campaigns, and build a vibrant online community that reflects the heart of Eat Cook Joy.
This is a part-time role (10–15 hours per week), ideal for someone with a passion for storytelling, a knack for creative content, and experience managing social media in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation and Strategy:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with our brand values and goals.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content (posts, stories, videos, and reels) for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Showcase the stories of our chefs, clients, and company mission through compelling visuals and messaging.
- Community Engagement:
- Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and authentic manner.
- Build relationships with followers, influencers, and partners to foster a loyal online community.
- Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote services, seasonal offers, and brand milestones.
- Monitor campaign performance, track key metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve goals.
- Trend Spotting and Insights:
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep Eat Cook Joy’s content fresh and relevant.
- Use analytics tools to evaluate performance and provide regular reports on engagement, growth, and ROI.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience managing social media accounts for brands or businesses.
- Proven track record of increasing engagement and growing online communities.
- Skills:
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and design.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite), and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark).
- Analytical mindset to track and optimize performance.
- Personal Traits:
- A passion for food, cooking, or culinary storytelling is a big plus!
- Creative thinker with the ability to translate ideas into actionable content.
- Location and Availability:
- Based in Texas, with the ability to work remotely.
- Available for 10–15 hours per week with flexibility for campaign deadlines.
