πŸ’Ž Who is the Inside Sales Professional?

The Inside Sales Professional is self-motivated and results-driven, playing a critical part in driving revenue growth by connecting with prospective clients, nurturing leads, and setting meetings. Your ability to understand client needs and articulate the value of our services will be essential to success.

The prospective clients are known to the agency and have had some type of previous interaction such as engagement with marketing efforts, response to thought leadership content, attendance at a webinar or previous meetings with agency personnel. While some cold outreach may be required, it is not the primary effort anticipated for this role.

This role is not responsible for proposal creation or presentation, pricing or contracting with clients. Rather, this role is focused on facilitating the meetings, communication, information and follow-up that sets the table for a sale to take place.

In this role, you can expect to be responsible for the following:

Prospect Nurturing

  • Proactively reach out to known potential clients through calls, emails, and social media platforms.
  • Utilize marketing content, capabilities decks, and other materials to continually provided added value to your communication.
  • Leverage thought leadership documents and presentations to promote interest and response from potential clients.

Setting Subject Matter Expert (SME) Meetings

  • Set in-person and/or Teams Meetings between prospective clients and relevant Leap Group SMEs and Principals based upon the need expressed by the prospective client.
  • Conduct internal briefings for meeting attendees to convey all pertinent information about the prospective client, their needs, and other relevant background.
  • Attend meetings and assist in determining next steps and follow-up.

Conducting Follow-up

  • A meeting may result in any of a number of outcomes – another meeting, a proposal, conveying additional information to the prospective client, and so on.
  • In all cases, it is your responsibility to ensure that follow-up is achieved. This may require a variety of efforts that include setting meetings, reminding internal SMEs, and establishing follow-up meetings with the prospective client.

Data and CRM Management

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities, prospective client information, and deal progress in Hubspot.
  • Ensure all potential client communications are tracked and recorded in Hubspot.
  • Analyze outreach and success/failure metrics and provide regular reports to management.

Market and Industry Knowledge

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
  • Communicate insights to the team to refine sales strategies and service offerings.

  • 5+ years’ experience in inside sales or account management in advertising, marketing, media or a related industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience utilizing HubSpot and Microsoft Excel.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Demonstration of empathy and a genuine interest in solving client problems.
  • Ability to thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot as needed.
