Job Purpose

As a member of the Central Ordering Team, the Inside Sales Representative will assist outside sales to drive incremental revenue growth, improve overall sales productivity, and generate new account penetration through the initiation of the sales cycle. As a member of the sales team the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for building and managing sales as well as establishing account presence and building trust with all customers looking to order from HERC.

The Inside Sales Representative is a critical position in the success of the Region’s continued growth in account base and revenue generation. The Inside Sales Representative is accountable for all facets of the business to include reservation close ratio, revenue growth, and customer

What you will do…

  • Take incoming sales call and provide industry leading customer service.
  • Maintain and manage customer contact lists to include future follow up to grow revenue.
  • Meet call and close ratio goals as set by the Manager of Central Ordering.
  • Ability to work individually in a fast paced environment
  • Uses consistent business processes to achieve desired results
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • Work with outside sales force to gain new customers.
  • Work with outside sales force to maintain and grow existing customers.
  • Execute specific sales initiatives as they are developed.
  • Monday thru Friday. Must be able to work an 8-hour shift between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Requirements

  • College degree in business administration, marketing or related field preferred
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of sales experience with a focus on customer service.
  • Inbound telephone sales experience preferred.
  • Self-Starter
  • Results oriented, with demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Sales and negotiation skills
  • Customer service resolution practices

Pay Range: $28/hour to $35/hour
