The Position

Responsible for generating revenue and maximizing profitability and sales growth by closing sales. This role is typically aligned with a specific field sales rep(s) or field sales team. Sells to and services accounts via phone. Usually responsible for non-complex sales. Operates under moderate supervision. Applies advanced knowledge and skills to complete assignments requiring judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Receives little instruction on daily assignments and may determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.
The Opportunity
- Contacts assigned customers and sells to/services accounts via phone or other electronic means within a designated territory to develop new business, grow existing business, maintain customer relationships and troubleshoot customer problems.
- This includes identifying and developing strategic account plans, developing and delivering the differentiating message and quantifiable economic value for products and services, selling the primary differentiation of Roche products, overcoming and managing objections, and negotiating to obtain sales.
- Negotiates and manages on-going account support, distribution relationships, and programs to meet the customer and Roche’s needs.
- Maintains complete and accurate customer data for assigned territory in sales force automation system per the timelines provided by business area.
- Captures customer complaints and inserts them into the Roche Quality System through the CAPA process.
- Follows Good Promotional Practices as outlined by the Roche Quality System.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Entry level sales or equivalent experience
- Participation in an approved accelerated development, fellowship or rotational program may be considered in lieu of experience

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is 46,600.00 – 86,500.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
