HOERBIGER

As Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for HOERBIGER Safety Solutions, IEP Technologies, you will drive growth in sales and strengthen brand recognition and distribution sales channels for our Explosion Protection product line across the Hazardous Locations (HAZLOC) processing industries. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver exceptional service, technical guidance, and impactful solutions to promote life safety and operational excellence.

You should have a technical understanding of how manufacturing processes in combustible liquids and vapors, powder and bulk solids-handling industries work, and a functional understanding of the primary process equipment in these industries. In addition, you should have experience with the application of industrial fire protection or life safety equipment in the manufacturing industries.

Position requires 50% travel. The territory for this position includes the region from Pennsylvania north to Maine. Successful candidate must live in the region, preferably in Massachusetts however other states are also suitable. Travel also will include participating in local and national trade shows, as well as international travel for training.

How you will make a difference

  • Achieve or exceed revenue and profitability targets within the assigned territory.
  • Develop strategic sales plans and provide accurate, timely forecasts for sales opportunities.
  • Conduct on-site visits with manufacturers, engineering firms, distributors, and other industry stakeholders to promote products and secure orders.
  • Gather and provide detailed technical information to support custom design and installation projects while ensuring comprehensive training for local representatives.
  • Foster cross-regional collaboration with other RSMs to maximize corporate opportunities and share insights for collective success.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical B2B sales with customizable industrial products, preferably in fire and life safety, explosion protection, or manufacturing process equipment.
  • Proven expertise in presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences, including end users, distributors, and industry influencers.
  • Skilled in managing distribution channels and driving territory development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, including equipment such as dryers, dust collectors, or material conveyance systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred; equivalent education in business or marketing with technical experience will also be considered.
