We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our team and drive growth in the radiation and proton therapy software solutions market.

About the role

As a Regional Sales Manager for the RT/PT domain at Cosylab, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the radiation and proton therapy industry in the United States market. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, healthcare institutions, and industry partners, ultimately driving revenue growth by promoting our innovative software solutions.

For easier and more effective collaboration with our HQ team located in Ljubljana, we welcome candidates from the East Coast of the United States to apply for this job.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with radiation and proton therapy professionals, including key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the radiation and proton therapy market.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to ensure a deep understanding of our software solutions and support the overall development of the business.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage the sales process from start to finish.
  • Represent Cosylab at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

All of the above will help you meet your annual sales targets (e.g., revenue per segment, generation of qualified pipeline, customer satisfaction score, etc.).

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of successful sales experience in radiation and/or proton therapy solutions and 15+ working experience in the B2B market.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a complex, technical sales environment.
  • Know how of product sales.
  • A strong regional network of contacts within the radiation and/or proton therapy industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, or life sciences).
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.

Bonus points:

  • Professional background in Medical Physics, Medical Dosimetry or Oncology
  • Experience with establishing new sales teams
