We are seeking several dynamic and motivated Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to join our sales team. The RSM will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and fostering relationships with potential clients. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving growth in a cutting-edge industry.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth & Business Development
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within restaurants, hotels, cafes, corporate dining, and other food service operators.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and channel partners.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring long-term customer success.
- Conduct product presentations, tastings, and demonstrations to key stakeholders.
- Account Management & Expansion
- Support existing customers by ensuring product adoption, training, and satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Customer Experience (CX) team to support smaller and existing accounts.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize customer retention and increase order volume.
- Market Strategy & Execution
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to optimize sales strategies.
- Work with the marketing team to execute promotional initiatives that drive brand awareness and product adoption.
- Represent Solato at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to drive lead generation.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and leadership insights.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless order fulfillment and product availability.
- Work cross-functionally to refine Solato’s go-to-market strategy and positioning in the foodservice sector.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of sales experience in the foodservice, hospitality, or CPG industry, with a focus on premium or specialty products.
- Strong existing network within the restaurant, hotel, or food service distribution sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Passion for premium food products and a deep understanding of the foodservice landscape.
- Experience using CRM tools and data-driven sales strategies.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
