Mochi Health is seeking a Sales Development Representative to support our entry into the employer-sponsored health benefits market. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing relationships with benefits brokers and HR decision-makers while supporting the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to shape our market strategy and expand our corporate partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for making a positive impact in the healthcare space and have a track record of success in B2B sales, partnerships, or business development, ideally in the healthcare or benefits space. You’re a self-starter that is comfortable in a quickly changing startup environment and open to travel when necessary.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies targeting benefits brokers, consultants, and HR leaders.
- Pipeline Generation: Identify, engage, and nurture prospective customers through outbound efforts such as events and personalized emails.
- Track and report on key performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates, pipeline velocity) using CRM tools.
- Work closely with the marketing team to refine messaging, co-develop materials, and run co-branded campaigns. Partner with product and operations teams to provide feedback that enhances Mochi’s employer solutions.
- Represent Mochi Health at conferences, webinars, and benefits expos to increase visibility and build strategic alliances.
Who You Are
- 1 or more years of experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or business development, ideally in healthcare or benefits.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and data analytics for sales reporting.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, including marketing, product, and operations.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced startup environment and a willingness to travel up to 60%.

The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $90,000 to $120,000, in addition to equity and benefits. The salary range listed in each job posting represents the minimum and maximum targets for new hire salaries across all locations. Actual compensation within this range is determined by various factors, such as job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and location.
