GP’s North American Consumer Business is seeking a Sales Director role managing the Agency business within the Grocery Channel. This position is responsible for growing our share position profitably for the Tissue, Towel, Napkin and Dixie businesses. This position will manage one direct report and our 3rd party selling Agencies while leveraging numerous functional resources. This position will also create value and provide GP with a competitive advantage by understanding and developing relationships with the customer to profitably anticipate and satisfy their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Drive annual growth against key retail measures ($ share, top-line revenue, IDM attainment and GM $’s)
  • Create long-term value by fully understanding our customer’s objectives, challenges and initiatives, while utilizing the appropriate Agency & GP resources to deliver superior results.
  • Strengthen customer relationships through highly effective customer wiring and through Joint Business Planning partnerships.
  • Identify customer specific marketing opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to develop effective plans that deliver positive ROIs.
  • Understand and effectively manage trade strategy and programs to deliver profitable sales results.
  • Effectively manage internal systems to deliver accurate volume and trade forecasts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective and profitable sales plans.
  • Improve profitability by mix and price improvements, and by working with internal teams to identify supply chain cost reductions

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years sales experience
  • Experience in the consumer products industry
  • At least two years of trade marketing or customer investment experience within the CPG industry

  • Experience with syndicated data to develop effective, fact-based business plans and presentations.

Anticipated salary range $150,000 – $200,000 plus eligibility for sales incentives based on individual and business performance.
