Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Engineer specializing in industrial automated machinery.
This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our technologically advanced products and our valued clients. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems, backed by exceptional communication skills to effectively support our clients and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Support: Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial client contact to successful commissioning of lines being installed. Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet client expectations.
  • Client Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients. Engage with clients’ engineering and plant operations teams to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Quotations & Sales Presentations: Prepare detailed equipment quotations and conduct persuasive sales presentations to showcase the value and efficiency of our products.
  • Order Monitoring: Track client orders and projects through our in-house engineering and production teams to ensure seamless delivery and installation.
  • Commissioning & Training: Facilitate client communications during equipment start-up and commissioning. Provide comprehensive understanding of the process to ensure clients can maximize the use of their new systems.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to effectively convey technical information and foster client relationships.
  • Technical Expertise: A strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with the ability to understand and explain complex systems.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in using various software tools to manage client communications and project documentation.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 annually, with the potential for an end-of-year bonus based on performance.

Familiarity with the steel industry, specifically flat roll coil processing, is encouraged to apply. Previous hands-on maintenance experience is a plus for understanding machinery. An engineering degree is not required but encouraged.
