Megatel Homes is seeking an experienced and driven New Home Sales Manager to oversee our sales communities throughout the DFW Metroplex. This leadership role is responsible for executing company sales strategies, training and mentoring New Home Sales Consultants, and driving exceptional results in a competitive housing market. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in home sales, team leadership, and building a culture of success.

About the Role

The New Home Sales Manager will lead and develop sales teams, drive traffic and community engagement, maximize sales performance, ensure operational coordination, and uphold brand excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Develop Sales Teams
  • Inspire, coach, and motivate Sales Consultants through regular feedback, performance reviews, and goal setting.
  • Provide ongoing training in sales techniques, CRM usage, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
  • Drive Traffic & Community Engagement
  • Implement local engagement strategies to drive traffic, including outreach to Realtors, referral programs, and follow-up plans.
  • Ensure consistent prospecting and follow-up efforts across all communities.
  • Maximize Sales Performance
  • Guide Sales Consultants on conversion strategies to meet and exceed community sales goals.
  • Partner with team members to create positive buying experiences and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Coordination
  • Collaborate with construction, marketing, and closing departments to ensure timely closings and aligned efforts.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors and develop strategies to outperform in local submarkets.
  • Uphold Brand Excellence
  • Ensure that all model homes, sales offices, and communities reflect Megatel’s brand standards and maintain a high-quality presentation.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in new home sales, with prior experience managing or mentoring sales professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of general residential construction processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive performance in a sales environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to resolve escalated issues professionally.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced and evolving market.
  • Skilled in relationship-building with buyers, Realtors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Confident and resourceful with a professional presence.
  • Strong understanding of local market competition and buyer behavior.
  • Ability to work weekends and travel to assigned communities.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and other relevant applications.
