POSITION TITLE: Senior Outside Sales Specialist
JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Conduct new customer prospecting.
- Establish and cultivate effective business partnerships with customer decision makers and support staff.
- Develop a sales strategy with your portfolio of customers to achieve organizational sales goals, including: assortment planning, new item introductions, promotions, and sales events targeted primarily on cordless tools, new generation of current best sellers and other products in our portfolio.
- Develop a regular routine of customer communication, interaction and follow-up.
- Actively participate in sales presentations and brand building opportunities within your customer organizations.
- Conduct market research to understand and react to market trends.
- Attend Trade Meetings, Industry Conventions to drive brands and develop customer relationships.
- Analyze sales performance data and develop action plans to address sales opportunities.
- Receive inbound customer calls to assist with product inquiries, sales orders and problem resolution.
- Perform other duties that may be required from time to time.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Fluency in English is required.
- Excellent, persuasive, verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with executive level personnel within you customer portfolio.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills, especially proficient in MS Office Word and Excel.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work activities to achieve desired goals.
- Ability to work under pressure, changing priorities and demands.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Quick to learn in ambiguous circumstances.
- Ability to travel approximately 30%-40% of the time.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years of experience selling to the hardware/tool retail customer with Pnuematic Tools, Water Pumps or Compressors.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 2-3 years of experience selling to the hardware/tool retail customer.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study.
