About The Role

We are seeking a VP of Sales to lead all commercial aspects of Counsel Health while helping to shape and execute our go-to-market strategy to increase partner acquisition, retention, and overall revenue.


This exceptional commercial leader will be a pivotal role within our dynamic early-stage team requiring a proven track record of selling into health plans, employers, and value-based care entities. The ideal candidate will possess the drive and expertise to grow into the leader of our sales organization, helping to shape and execute our go-to-market strategy. The VP of Sales is a remote role and will report directly to our CEO.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Work with our CEO and Medical Director to implement a GTM strategy to drive the adoption of our AI-powered medical services among relevant VBC stakeholders
  • Sales Execution: Lead end-to-end sales processes, from initial outreach and negotiation to closing deals and managing ongoing relationships
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers within health plans, employers, and other potential partners

Requirements

  • Overall Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales with a proven track record of generating year over year growth
  • Healthcare Experience: 5+ years of experience within healthcare with specific experience selling into VBC entities
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with the company’s vision and goals while owning the build of business development at Counsel Health
